Me and my husband love coming to Starbucks to enjoy coffee and breakfast. But we were extremely disappointed with this location. The staff were rude, unfriendly, and seemed generally unhappy to be there. The tall man who was running the register who we later found out to be the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful in taking our order. We had questions about the new menu and he seemed blatantly annoyed about our curiosity about what to try off the menu. Then, when we ordered our drinks took over 10 minutes and then when they were ready, the lady with glasses making the beverages didn’t call our names out so they sat there getting cold. When we asked if the drinks were ours, she responded in a harsh tone “read the name on the cup.” Okay, I get it. We could’ve easily read it however I didn’t have my glasses and it wasn’t enough of an issue for her to respond so rudely. We sat in the lobby for a bit and overheard some of the workers talking behind the counter badly about some of the customers, and given the reaction they had to us we assumed they were talking about us so at that point we left. This is unfortunate as Safety Harbor is a beautiful place to spend the afternoon, however

There is no complaints with Starbucks but this store's staff has no customer service.. I've bought many mugs, many tumblers and they always offer to rinse and use it for my order. This staff declined rinsing my tumbler and did not want to place the coffee in there.. I walk Safety Harbor all the time and the enjoyment of having a new cup with hot coffee is not here today with the staff at this store .. will not return to this store with that staff!!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Review for Starbucks I typically enjoy Starbucks and have had many great experiences at other locations, but unfortunately this one really missed the mark. I was surprised and disappointed to learn that they will not provide a simple cup of water unless you make a purchase. It’s a basic courtesy that most Starbucks locations (and many other businesses) offer, especially in Florida where staying hydrated is important. This policy felt unnecessary and not aligned with the customer-friendly experience I’ve come to expect from the brand. Customer service is about small gestures, and this was a missed opportunity to create goodwill. Hopefully management reconsiders this policy moving.

I found it odd that there is a Starbucks in Safety Harbor; out of place in a quaint harbor town. With that said it didn't stick out too much and was in a nice pre-existing building and the interior was way better than the SBs being built in recent years with limited seating. All of the local coffee shops close early, at least during January. So, local coffee shops are always my first choice, SB will do in a pinch. It looked like this was an older store, that's good! It still has plenty of space to sit and relax in comfortable seating. The espresso drinks were as expected. We both had Vanilla Lattes with Oatmilk. I asked for extra hot and got extra hot! Not always the case. If you are in Safety Harbor and want a latte after 3pm, this is a solid choice.

WOW, exactly what I needed my day to be in this coming year 2026🙏❤️ The people who work here are always so kind and sweet and attentive with everyone. Orders are always right since I've been coming here and I'm always happy coming to safety harbor Starbucks even though I live in oldsmar. This morning a kind and sweet person Drew this for me on my cup and that right there deserves everything. 01/05/2026
